Gulp. Well, here they are folks….the before pictures for the New Year’s Organizing Revolution. As I discussed in this post earlier this week, I’m participating in this month long challenge – being hosted over at www.OrgJunkie.com. It is exactly what I need to start my year off right! You check out the others that are participating in this week’s challenge here.

- Computer area – feels cramped

- Top – Project Bins, Magnetic Push Pin Board, Calendar, Printer, etc.

- Too much clutter

- Top Right – Needs to be purged!

- Middle Right – Just “stuff”

- Bottom Right Drawer. Just a mess – nothing in its place.

- Left Top – not too bad
-
- Middle Left . . . no idea why the contents are in there

- Bottom Left – this drawer seems okay to me.
Going to clean it all out, purge what needs to be purged and create ‘homes’ for it all.
So, after an hour or so clearing things out, here are the results…

- (sorry so dark) Computer with just the Inbox to the right and the Action Folder to the Left under the bulletin board that is now hanging.

- Project cubbies, bulletin board and calendar, household binder, pc and printer

- (didn’t keep inbox on the printer, just forgot to move it b4 pic)

- Little notebook, business cards, little office supplies like labels and brads

- Right Middle Drawer. Labeler, a few books and a small binder
-
- Bottom Right. Just the expandable folder and padfolio. These are things of my moms I still need to process through.

- Left Top – a few other misc. supplies and my 3-subject “Go To” Folder for my 3 VA clients

- Left Middle Drawer. EMPTY! Room to grow. :-) So happy!

- Bottom right is still neat (as it was) so this is just to show a wonderful magnet “reminder” I love!
What do you think? Really. I want to know. I know it isn’t a drastic difference, but, I feel really good that I got this all cleaned out! Woo-hoo. Going to enjoy going through the other participants entries tomorrow too – maybe I’ll find some inspiration on streamlining even further! I would love to hear your input.
